Whether you are an experienced Core Director user with experiences to share or a newcomer who would like to interact with other users, becoming a member of CBUG is an excellent way to help you get the most value from the Core Director System.

To become a member of CBUG, you must be a user of the Jack Henry Core Director software – Caribbean version. A membership fee of EC$300 is payable each year. A user in the group is defined as a bank, financial institution, or bank holding company. To become a member, please contact any member of the Executive Committee listed below.

The Group’s annual conference is held during the month of June/July in one of the member bank’s country. A different country is chosen each year.

The CBUG participates in Jack Henry & Associates’ National User Group annual conference which is held in a different state in the USA. The JHA user group conference has something to offer all users, from the beginner to the expert. It is an excellent opportunity for Core Director Users to meet with JHA staff, network with other users of the software, discuss software issues, obtain training, and to view new product releases. It also provides the opportunity to see products and/or services, which work in tandem with the JHA Core Director software.

The vision of the Caribbean Bankers Users Group is to establish a strong collaborative partnership that is both socio-economic and banking oriented, allowing its member banks to achieve a sustainable dynamism, built on mutual interests, benefits, functional co-operation and meaningful dialogue.

The mission of CBUG is to bring together users of the Jack Henry Core Director Banking software across the Caribbean, Central and South America regions for the sharing of ideas and developments, as well as keeping its members abreast of new enhancements, technology advancements and upcoming events. The User Group creates a positive influence on JHA through the combined resources of the member institutions, allowing representatives of JHA to address and respond to the group’s mutual problems and concerns.
